The Buy-Out and Growth Capital unit of Green Arrow Capital SGR relies on a dedicated team of professionals with active involvement of CEO and CIO.
The aim of the team is to invest in small and medium leading Italian companies which are likely to grow in their market and internationally with the support of a specialized financial operator. Italy is indeed a country rich of companies that have a high growth potential and are likely to create value for shareholders by injecting capital and strengthening management.
The investment strategy focuses on the acquisition of majority shares in small and medium leading Italian companies active in a niche market or in a fragmented sectors with high potential of consolidation.
The investment targets are companies with high return on the capital invested that require a limited investment in fixed assets and where the value creation can be achieved by intervening on the organizational and financial structure.

Massimo Massari
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Massimo Massari has more than 20 years of experience in Private Equity and joins Green Arrow Capital having co-founded Mast Capital Partners in 2010, exclusive advisor in Italy of the Winch Capital family of funds promoted and managed by Andera Partners (formerly Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners), where he developed the Italian market with a focus on high growth SMEs.

Previously, he was Managing Director at Aletti Private Equity SGR where he lead a number of transactions in the Italian mid-market as well as Investment Director of PAI Partners in Paris with a focus on pan-European LBOs in the consumer goods sector. A graduate of Bocconi University, he began his career in 1992 at Citibank and moved to London where he joined the Corporate Finance department of Hill Samuel Bank. Other previous positions include working in London at EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) where he executed important investments in the development capital sector in Eastern Europe, and head of business development at Findim Group.

Tommaso Molinaro has over 15 years of experience in private equity gained in leading Italian and international private equity groups active in the middle market with an increasing level of seniority and dealing directly with all phases of the investment, portfolio management and divestment cycle.

Tommaso Molinaro has over 15 years of experience in private equity gained in leading Italian and international private equity groups active in the middle market with an increasing level of seniority and dealing directly with all phases of the investment, portfolio management and divestment cycle. Before joining Green Arrow Capital, Tommaso was been Junior Partner at Armònia and Investment Director at Alto Partners, two independent private equity funds dedicated to the Italian mid-market where he actively contributed to the origination, structuring, implementation and monitoring of investment transactions with responsibility of various portfolio companies also serving as board member. Previously he was a Principal in the Milan office of Ergon Capital Partners, a pan-European mid-marked private equity fund, where he was involved in several transactions in a variety of sectors in Europe and Italy. A graduate of Bocconi University, he began his investment banking career first at Lazard (London/Milan) and later at Deutsche Bank.

Expert in private equity, corporate finance and financial markets for over 40 years. Bachelor degree with honors in Business Economics in 1974 at Bocconi University in Milan where he has also been a Finance Professor from 1977 to 2004.

Bachelor degree with honors in Business Economics in 1974 at Bocconi University in Milan where he has also been a Finance Professor from 1977 to 2004. In 1978 he founded SO.PA.F. SpA, company listed on the Milan stock exchange since 1984 that operates mainly in the private equity sector with proprietary capital. Over the years, through SO.PA.F. Vender has invested in about 80 companies in Italy and he has participated in about 40 investments outside of Italy as co-investor of leading private equity firms. For four years (3/2006 – 3/2020) he was Senior Advisor for Italy of Chequers Capital, a historic French private equity fund. He is currently Senior Advisor to Decalia Asset Management SIM. He was “Bocconi Alumnus of the year 1990” and founder and Board Members of AIFI (Italian private equity association). Vender has been Board Member of several Italian companies, including listed ones, including Rinaldo Piaggio, Buitoni, Zanussi, Mondadori, Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura, ICLE Mediocredito Toscano, Recordati, Retequattro, Sasib, GIM Generale Industrie Metallurgiche, Camfin, Humanita, Prelios and Life Care Capital. He is currently a Board Member of Coeclerici, Assiteca, Guber Banca, Decalia Asset Management SIM and Jove Invest.
